Barfold Olives is a family owned and operated grove established in 1999. The 40-acre property is at Barfold near Redesdale, Central Victoria in the upper reaches of Lake Eppalock. Barfold Olives grows, processes and sells premium grade oils and pickled olives.

  Work continues in the grove with the trees requiring a great deal of attention to pruning, with the majority of the upper foliage growth failing due to extreme heat received at the tree trunk level. The dead wood is being chainsawed back to allow way to new sucker shoots which will be selectively thinned to form a single new tree.
  
  Over the winter months we began the rebuild of the processing shed. This is now nearing completion in preparation of the 2010 harvest. Barfold Olives will once again offer olive oil processing with the soon expected arrival of a new Rapanelli plant, thanks to the great work of Marco Guglielmucci, Bob Ware and the team at JB MacMahon. The new plant will be of similar equipment but capacity has increased to approx 600kg/hr, depending on olives. See Olive Processing page for further details.
  
  The construction of the processing shed has also allowed us to re-open a new doors sales shop. Normal opening times 10am to 5pm, 7 days.
  
  We continue to thank everyone who keep offering their help. We are now progressing well on our way to recovery.
